Recent Work - Landscape Series //
Aaron Linton sees visions in the shapes, shadows and fog of tranquil, real world landscapes. He translates them into miniature sets, mixing hand-crafted and found objects. These are living landscapes, haunted by the spirits of nature, warped through the lens of human influence. The natural, technological and fantastic collide to create surreal settings, familiar yet foreign.
About the Artist //
Reared on a healthy diet of nature documentaries, comic books and B-movie monsters, most of Aaron’s influences can be traced back to his childhood. His background in fine arts and animation, as well as his compulsion to build things, have helped to shape his photographs.
